SUMMARY The Copywriter is a key member of the creative team and an integrated content developer—someone who moves fluidly from print to digital and works comfortably in multiple formats across various platforms. As a business-to-business copywriter, you are a storyteller. You thrive on developing powerful, high-level messages and concepting ideas that connect to the right audiences. You have developed content marketing programs and seen them through execution. As an interactive writer, you understand that the word “content” means more than just “copy.” You’re able to harness the full potential of content, presenting it in engaging, multi-purpose and useful ways. You find analytics and user experience interesting because you know that how a user engages with content ultimately determines how you will craft it. You also stay close to client customer insight and are on top of industry trends and best practices. You work with a sense of urgency, care about the details and understand the importance of deadlines and communication. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop creative concepts/ideas in partnership with the art director, and have the ability to sell those ideas • Write clear, persuasive, original copy in a variety of formats and styles for multiple audiences • Collaborate on developing content marketing strategies—from inception to execution • Edit and proofread product and promotional copy • Understand clients’ products and services, the target audience and their competitors’ activities • Oversee content for campaigns from concept to completion • Manage a large workload under pressure and tight deadlines • Keep up with current content marketing trends • Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative culture
Required Qualifications :
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or English • Minimum 3-5 years writing,preferably within an agency setting • Experience (or interest) in Business-to-business writing • Marketing and digital writing and editing skills • Knowledge of web usability standards and search marketing practices • Excellent communication skills and ability to sell concepts/ideas • Brand strategy and implementation experience • Knowledge of how to use content management systems (CMS) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Juggle multiple projects while meeting demanding deadlines and producing high quality work
